Alyssa Royster comes to us from our neighboring state, Maryland.
Alyssa received her M.A. in Broadcast Journalism and Public Affairs in the nation’s capital at American University. Here she had the opportunity to cover Congress when in session, as well as anchor and report for her school’s news station, District Wire News.
Alyssa also spent a year abroad in Argentina. There she was able to become fluent in Spanish.
When Alyssa isn’t out on a story, you’ll find her teaching Zumba, spending time with family, or catching up on her favorite guilty pleasure show, The Bachelor/Bachelorette.
