Kaitlyn joined the WTAJ team in January of 2022 as the weekend Meteorologist. She just previously spent her last 3 years in Duluth Minnesota, where she started her TV career. Kaitlyn was born and raised in Eastern Pennsylvania in Berks County and went to college at California University of Pennsylvania. In 2018 she graduated with her bachelor’s degree in Meteorology.
In the fall of 2018, Kaitlyn moved to Duluth Minnesota and worked for KBJR 6/CBS 3 as the weekend Meteorologist. Within that next year, she moved to mornings and was the weekday Meteorologist for CBS 3 Duluth.
Kaitlyn is happy to be back in her home state and much closer to family to continue doing what she loves. Ever since the 6th grade, she knew weather was her passion when learning about the clouds and how fascinating they can be. In her college years, she got to go on a storm chase trip across the entire U.S. where they travelled 12 different states and even witnessed a tornado.
When Kaitlyn isn’t at work, she enjoys cooking, baking, and attending sporting events! Be sure to stop and say hello if you see Kaitlyn out in the community.
