Ryan joins the Sports Team at WTAJ after growing up in the Chicago suburbs and spending the past two years covering crime and sports at WHBF in the Quad Cities. He is very excited to explore and tell stories about local teams and Penn State.
Ryan comes with a vast amount of experience as a reporter covering news and sports. While in the Quad Cities Ryan covered many breaking news stories and served as the beat reporter for the Murder Trial in the death of Mollie Tibbetts. Before his time in the Quad Cities, Ryan spent more than four years as a Sports Reporter with Naperville Community Television. There he told many stories and watched numerous State Champions crowned.
Being a big sports fan from a Chicago suburb, Ryan is a huge fan of the Cubs, Blackhawks, Bears, and Bulls. He enjoys going to games, specifically ones that have a bobblehead giveaway. Ryan has been a bobblehead enthusiast for many years and has an ever-growing collection with over 250.
