Pennsylvania Governor Tom Wolf is seeking feedback from Pennsylvanians as he becomes a key player in the future congressional map of the state.

Following the decision of the Pennsylvania Supreme Court to toss out the state’s congressional map, the GOP is working to redraw the map.

On Tuesday, Wolf held a Town Hall along with other advocates for anti-gerrymandering asking for feedback for what exactly fair redistricting looks like.

“They want to see districts that are compact and contiguous, they want to see maps that don’t split communities of interest as you call it, and that have some geographic and demographic logic to them,” Wolf said.

The new map must be on Wolf’s desk by Feb. 9, where he will make the decision to accept or reject it by Feb. 15. If he rejects the GOP’s map proposal, the state’s supreme court will be tasked with redrawing the map.
