CLEARFIELD COUNTY, Pa. (WTAJ)–The body of a missing woman from Clearfield County was found Sunday afternoon, Pennsylvania State Police report.

State police were searching for Brittany Socash after she was reported missing on July 3. Officials confirmed that her body was located at a crash off of Curwensville Grampian Highway.

State Police report that Socash was driving on Curwensville Gampian Highway when her Silverado went across the double yellow lines and off the road. The truck reportedly traveled 28 feet through the air before hitting an embankment and then another 33 feet before hitting a tree.

Socash was pronounced dead at the scene on July 4.

Brittany Socash was last seen in the area of Bear Hill Road in Bradford Township, according to police.

Socash stands at 5 feet and 7 inches and weighs approximately 200 pounds. She has blondish brown hair and could be driving a 4 door 2008 Chevy Silverado pick-up truck.
