SOMERSET COUNTY, Pa. (WTAJ) — New conference, same rivals are the theme of our Sportsbeat Game of the Week as Berlin Brothers Valley hosts Windber.
Both teams enter Friday’s matchup 6-1 as they meet for the first time as Inter-County Conference members. If you missed our preview, take a look.

FOURTH QUARTER/FINAL – Berlin Brothersvalley 28 Windber 0
The next play Moriek Jones would score from 47 yards out, extending Berlin’s lead to 28-0.
Berlin would end up picking up a fumble giving them the ball back in Ramblers territory.
Both teams would make some substitutions as Windber still looks to score.
Two plays later Aidan Ream would take it to the house for a 25-yard score. Mountaineers lead 21-0.
Berlin would stick to their run game and freshman Moriek Jones would break free for 34 yards, setting them up inside the 30.
THIRD QUARTER Berlin Brothersvalley 14 Windber 0
The quarter would come to an end with Windber getting set to punt. Tanner Barkley would go down with an injury though and Ace Kolson would go in under center.
Two plays later, Cooper Huston would cut into the endzone. The drive was capped off by a good extra point and extended the Mountaineer lead to 14.
The Mountaineers would continue to run the ball, getting down to the 5 yard line.
Kimmel would flip the field two plays later with a 38-yard run to the 25 of Windber.
Windber would start to get it going, making just their second trip into Berlin territory. However, the Ramblers would fumble on the 36, giving Berlin the ball with 3:40 left in the quarter.
Berlin would be the first team to score with 6:31 left as Pace Prosser would run it in from 8 yards out. The extra point was good and Berlin leads 7-0.
The Mountaineers would start their next drive from their own 22 but would quickly move up field inside Rambler’s territory.
While Windber would start the second half with the ball, they would be forced to punt early.
SECOND QUARTER – Berlin Brothersvalley 0 Windber 0
The game’s quick pace would continue as another pair of punts would get the ball back to the Mountaineers with just 1:15 in the half.
The Ramblers wouldn’t make much progress though, as Cody Kimmel would come up with a huge second-down sack. Windber’s drive would stall forcing a punt.
As Berlin would inch closer to the endzone, a bad handoff to running back Cooper Huston would result in a fumble with Windber recovering. This set up the Ramblers on their own 1.
FIRST QUARTER
The quarter would end with Berlin threatening on the Windber 25.
Punting would stay constant for both teams. Winder would punt on their next two possessions and the Mountaineers would look to finally get something going starting at their own 20.
Berlin started the game with the ball but they were forced to punt after three plays.
